the meeting is open to the public and Chairman Alderman D.J. Vater advised

it is open to the public.

Alderman Vater advised the "Terry Fox Run" is being
held on September 19th, 1982 at 10:00 a.m. commencing at the
Hyde Creek Centre.

Alderman Mabbett expressed concern regarding the problems
mentioned by Mrs. Harvey of speeding cars and squealing car tires
on Manning Avenue and Vincent Street and stated in his opinion the
R.C.M.P. are not coritrolling this situation closely enough. . Mayor
Traboulay advised te will arrange for the R.C.M.P. to meet with
the Council.

Alderman Mabbett. referred to receipt of a letter regarding the

left turn signs at Snaughnessy Street and Elgin Avenue and Alderman

Laking advised a report will be coming from the Public Works

Committee.
