Pollock City Administrator At the last regular meeting of Council the following resolution was tabled pending report from the Mayor. "hac the Carnoustie Golf Club be instructed.to remove their temporary trailer facilities by April 30th, 1981". , Tabled, Mayor Laking and I met with Mr. Jim Methven, President of Carnoustie, to discuss their plans for redevelopment of the golf club facilities. He informed us that they are proceeding with plans for the construction of a building. They hope te use precast concrete construction in order to get the building up in the shortest possible time, however, this will depend on site conditions. They will be meeting with our Planner and Bailding Inspector in this regard but they.hope to have plans for our purusal within the next 60 days. They also hope to have the building near completion by April 30th, however, this will depend on the type of building. With regard to their current facliities they have now connected up the trailer wnit to the sanitary sewer. The other, temporary sanitary facilities are in place but there is of course very little activity between now and about mid March next yoar. Mayor Laking informed Mr. Methven that the present facilities were located on the site without ny permission or permits from the City and that we had received some complaints about the continued use of the temporary facilities. Mr. Methven apologized for the delay but informed us’ that they had only settled with thelr insurance company on November 28th and was not in a’position to talk about any building plans until this question had been settled.
