The meeting was held on May 26th, 1976 and a report of the meeting is attached, Since the meeting, further consideration and negotiation with the two developers have brought some changes. As recommended by the Leisure Activities Committee, the developer of the Townhouse Development (R#12/76) has agreed to provide a Site of roughly 1 acre for a double tennis court, and the developer of the 32-let subdivision has agreed to bear the cost of the developing of the court. In exchange, the normal park levy is to be waived in both cases. Also as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Conmittee, R#12/76 is amended to a 64-.nit townhouse development in place of the previous scheme of 52 townhouses and 10 residential lots. A letter was recently received from School District #43 confirming school accommodation for the two developments and a copy is attached for your consideration. The two proposed developments were further considered by the Planning & Zoning Committee on August 11, 1976 and the Committee recommends that R#7/76 and Ri#12/76 as amended be approved. : 3 Alderman Traboulay expressed Preference for postponing such recommendation until student enroliment in the fall 1976 can first be confirmed.
