It was felt at that time that the above figures would provide us with just
over the 3 times figure and therefore further rezoning should be restricted
for the remainder of the year and that the policy should be reviewed in

1975 and revised as required.

RESULTS OF THE 1974 POLICY

1. out of the POTENTIAL 613 Lots that could have been available from
presently zoned RS-1 UNSUBDIVIDED land, only 82 lots have, in fact, been
provided by this route. This source has therefore not proved to date to
be a reliable source of supply if we want to ensure an adequate supply of
available building sites within the City.

2. Out of all lots available, either at random or in RS-1 parcels in the
City during the past 10 months only 149 single family lots have been
built upon in this period.

3. That the sector system allotments that follow were not, or will not be
met as outlined by Council breakdown:
