When the rains came, enormous puddles formed in the road and then flooded the driveway and lawn of the Koopman, house. - The shallowest parts of the flooded area were about: a foot deep and about two feet deep in other parts, The family had to elther stay deluge with high boots. indoors or wade ‘through the jot only was this an inegavenience, but Mrs. Koopman was worried about the water which had sloshed into the basement ihrough the outaide steps - and the walls..
