WILDLIFE ACT GENERAL REGULATION DIVISION 1] - RELEASE OF ANIMALS 1.01 Where a person is leyally in possession of 4 raptor and he uses the bird for the purposes of falconry, he is for those purposes exempted from section 79 (2) of the Act. 102. Where a person keeps an animal that (a) (b) is not designated as wildlife, and is native to the Province or occurs naturally in the wild in the Province and releases the animal in an area of the Province where it naturally occurs, he is for that purpose exempted from section 7Y (2) of the Act, DIVISION 2 — DOMESTIC ANIMALS 2.01 For the purposes of section 27 (2) of the Act the following are domestic animals: (a) (b) (c) (d) (e) (£) (g) (h) horses of the genus Equs; cattle of the genus Bos; sheep of the genus Ovis, except Ovis canadensis and Ovis dalli; goats of the genus Capra; rabbits of the genus Oryctalagus: swine of the genus Sus; other species of vertebrates that are not native to, or do not naturally occur in the Province, and which are tame or kept for the use of man; wildlife legaliy held or kept in captivity under authority o£ a permit. 2.02 For the purposes of sections 78, 79 and 81 of the Act, the following are danestic animals: (a) (b)} (c) a horse of the genus Equs; cattle of the genus Bos; sheep of the genus Ovis, except Ovis canadensis and Ovis dalli.
