subsequent to the tender opening, the City forces have
also contacted the owner of 1734 Broadway regarding the
sale of the preload material. By using the 9,000 cubic
metres of material. available at 1734 Broadway and. the
gravel supplied by Jack Cewe Ltd. for the balance of
the material required, the City will be able to
complete the work at a projected cost of $462,960.41
which is $87,200.00 less than it's tender price.

This is $2,157.09 lower than Jack Cewe's tender.

c) The City Forces are confident that they will be able
to complete the project at or below the amount of their
submissions.
