Revenue Sharing
Moved by Alderman Traboulay: Act - Grants.

Seconded by Alderman Keryluk:

That as recommended by the City Engineer, December llth, 1980 The
Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam apply for grants under the
Revenue Sharing Act for the following and that they be considered priority:
Construction of the proposed East Bank Road between Marpole Avenue
and Kingsway Avenue at an approximate cost of $187,000.00;
Widening and overlay of Prairie Avenue from Newberry Stre. -
to Cedar Drive at an aprroximate cost of $153,000.00;
AND THAT the construction of a portion of Broadway Strect or alternatively
Coast Meridian Rond, if Broadway Street is not required at that time, be
considered as third priority and be applied for at this ciume.

Council expressed their concerns regarding the increase in percentage
proposed for the 1981 R.C.M.P. costs and the following resolution was

Muntedpalities and the Ministry of the Attorney-General of the Council's
concerns regarding the propoacd 1981 R.C.M.P. costa:
