Re: 1978 Family Division Committee Budget

I have been instructed by the School District No. 43
Joint Family Division Committee to request the approval of
the three Municipal Councils of an $800. budget allocation
for the operation of the Committee in 1978. In the past,
this budget amount has been shared on the basis of the
Simon Fraser Health Unit Formula, and I would point out
that the annual budget allocation to cover Family Division
Committee expenses has never been fully expended.

The funds requested are used to reimburse members of
the Committee for expenses incurred as a result of attendance
at work shops, seminars, etc. and would, on occasion, be used
to aid a specific project or programme deemed worthwhile or
beneficial to the community as a whole.

Consideration of this request by your Council would
be most appreciated.
