This report expresses strong reservations regarding spending large sums of public money to address an increasing range of environmental and public health concerns. COPE does not agree with the main thrust ofthis report but believes there are many ideas in it which can be usefully discussed by Vancouver citizens. We hopé that these speakers will assist COPE and the public to reach their own conclusions on standards for the urban ¢ environment.
