Sculpture Lesson

Fall is here and what better time to learn how to do
something new? Nanaimo sculptor Joel Prévost is
offering a new series of classes for those who would
like to learn how to sculpt.

In these classes you can discover the sensuality of
clay, work with a live model, create a sculpture for
your home, office, or garden, and have lots of fun at
Prévost's sculpting studio. Students are always
pleased and amazed at the quality of work they are
able to produce, sculpting a human torso under
Prévost's expert guidance.

Classes run in series of four, three-hour evenings
once a week or two consecutive weekends. These
sessions are open to beginning, intermediate or
advanced students and are offered throughout the
year. Cost of the classes includes clay, sessions with
a live model and firing of your sculpture in Prévost's
large, professional quality kiln.

The first series of classes begins Wednesday,
January 29th.

Class times are 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Space is limited in each class so register now.

Kid’s Christmas Party!

Hey kids! The AFN is inviting you to come and decorate your own Christmas
ginger bread cookies, do some crafts and meet Santa Claus.

On December 11th, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
at Princess Ann School, 1951 Estevan Rd

Dear parents, please note that Santa Claus will bring gift to member’s kids aged 10 and
below only. For those kids, over 10 years old and all non-member’s kids, if you want Santa
Claus to give a gift to your child, please bring us your gift labeled in your child’s name. Thank
you for your collaboration.
