NEW BUSINESS: The City Administrator then presented a memorandum of Agreement with the Port Coquitlam Firefighters' Association, Local 1941, for 1976, which he stated closely follows that of the Vancouver Association, and he pointed out that Item 3 has been changed to provide that if an employee, promoted or transferred to a new position, or whose duties were otherwise altered by the rearrangement of positions, finds himself unable to perform the duties thereof can be returned to his former position and wage or salary without loss of seniority; Item 4 provides for the addition of "rank" after the name of each officer or firefighter on the seniority list; Item 5 clarifies overtime when an employee is required to work half an hour overtime after his regular shift; Item 6 to provide that dental coverage be extended to include employees who are included in the Supplementary Pension Plan will be dealt with by Arbitration, as an agreement has not been reached; with Item 7 - Grievance Procedure ~ and the remainder of the clauses re-written to closely correspond to the- Burnaby and Vancouver contracts; however, the Agreement is still subject to approval by the Anti-Inflation Board.
