An employee shall be granted parental leave for a period of up
to six (6) months before or after the birth or adoption of a
ee child. The employer shall not deny the pregnant employee the
is kK | right to continue employment during the period of pregnancy.
Where an employee seeks parental leave due to legal adoption,
the foregeing provision shall apply.

During the period of parental leave, the employer shall
continue to pay ite share of the medical, dental, and group
life insurance and other employee benefits of this agreement.
