COST SHARING

At |the request of the Local Authority, the dyke alignment has been
chahged from Route B Revised, the least cost dyke alignment, to

Rolute Bl. This involves the construction of approximately 300

lineal metres of additional dyke (see attached sketch) and since the
water levels will be higher, requires the dykes to be constructed to a

higher elevation. The cost of this additional dyke construction will

be Ishared equally between the Local Authority and the Province.

For, the purposes of this agreement;
a.| The ground elevations and dyke cross sections for Reute BL and
Route B Revised are assumed to be similar between points A and

C on the attached sketch.
