A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on January 18th, 1982. . His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.D. Gates, G.R. Laking, E.W. Mabbett, A.K. Muldoon, D.J. Vater and M.R. Wright in attendance. Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer B. Kirk, City ‘Engineer F.E. Peters, P. Eng., Assistant City Engineer T. Chong, Director of Planning W. Brown, Recreation Director K.J. Taylor, and Recording Secretary D. Vyse. His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced the 1LOth Port Coquitlam Scout Troup and their leaders, Mr. H. Barge and Mr. K. Elliott. and presented them with a City pen and pin. Mayor Traboulay advised members of the Port Coquitlam Kinsmen Club were present regarding the Kinsmen Mothers’ March and the Kinsmen then presented the City with a proclamation declaring the week of January 24th, 1982 to February lst, 1982 for the "Kinsmen Mothers! CORRESPONDENCE: From the Variety Club Telethon, December 28th, 1981 regarding Variety Club Telethon, Dec. 28/81 re "Variety Club Week" "Variety Club Week". Moved by Alderman Vater: Seconded by Alderman Muldoon: That the week of February 8th, 1982 to February 14th, 1982 be declared "Variety Club Week" in Port Coquitlam. Carried,
