That the amendment to Sign Regulation By-law No. 1661 respecting flashing

signs be deferred until after the proposed amendment is advertised in
the local newspapers and the public's comments are received.

Alderman Keryluk spoke in support of the existing Flashing signs
around the City.

From the City Administrator, April 11th, 1986 recommending that Deputy
Fire Chief, Mr. J.N. Boileau, be authorized to attand the Fire Chiefs'
Convention to be held in Cranbrook, B.C. from May 4th to May 8th, 1980
and that all his necessary expenses incurred therewith be paid.

That as recommended by the City Administrator, April 11th, 1980 Deputy
Fire Chief, Mr. J.N. Boileau, be authorized to attend the Fire Chicfs'
Convention to be held in Cranbrook, B.C. from May 4th to May 8th, 1980;

AND THAT all his necessary expenses incurred therewith be paid.

Prevention Officer's Seminar to be held in Kamloops, B.C. on May 13th,
14th and 15th, 1980 and asking that Council authorize the Fire Prevention
Officer, Mr. L. Schumacher, to attend and that his necessary expenses
incurred therewith be paid.
