The Municipal Council in Coquitlam have dealt with these Budget requests and have passed the following resolution: . . "That the capital expenditures in the amount of $9,390.00 be approved for 1979 budget appropriations; and that casual funds for part-time help in the amount of $12,685.70 be approvedfor 1979 Budget; and that one Clerk/Typist II total cost $11,122.00 be approved for the 1979 budget; and that the proposed Youth and Family Services Program, in the amount of $74,000.00 be approved with the clear understanding that this comes directiy under the R.C.M.P., and that it is for a two year trial period, all subject to the concurrence of the City of Port Coquitlam; and that the Municipal Manager contact the Attorney-General's Department to pursue a cost sharing arrangement for this pilot project." Note that if these requests are approved the total budget for this City which is indicated on Page 1 of Appendix A as $850,734.60 for 1979 will be increased by approximately $35,750.00.
