MEETING_ i

The next generai meating of the Potters Guild of B.C. will be
held at Van Dusen Gardens, 37th & Oak Sta., Vancouver, 8.C. on
Wecnesday, May 19th. Tea, coffee & home baking will he served
from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., followed by a short but important
business meeting.

The program for the eventing wtil consist of two excellent filma
on loan from the Consulate Gereral of Japan. One film ta on
the late Bizen potter Kaneshize showing hie work, his studio,
kiin, ete. and an interesting history of that area of Japan.
The other fiim te about the mcater of teabowls, the potter
Arakawa.

Durtng the evening there will be a dteplay of pottery by the
Kwantlen College atudenta, Judy Hackwell, Shirley Inouye
winner of the Potters Guild of 8.C. award for the college and
Doug Grteve winner of the Fraser Walley Potters award,
