Addressing the annual convention of the B.C. Wildlife Federation, Pelton noted that the enhancement program was made possible by the $3 surcharge added to basic hunting, fishing, guiding and trapping licences. Revenue from the surcharge goes directly into the Habitat Conservation Fund and is earmarked specifically for habitat improvement work. The 90 projects recom- mended by the Fund’s Public Advisory Board and approved by the En- vironment Minister are almost evenly divided between fisheries and wildlife interests. ‘Cc’ Class -Melanie Rothney, Patty Johnson; and Street stock -Ann Chiswell. “Sportsman main -Randy Goodwin, Ernie Perkins; ‘A’ Main - Les Reinhardt, Joe Boisvec; . ‘B’ Main -Walt Ziraldo, Dave Reinhardt; Jam- boree sportsman - Albert Weber, Ernie Perkins; .
