That Council pass resolution authorizing the Planning Department to
prepare Development Variance Permit No. under Section 974 of the Municipal
Act; and

That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign the documenta when
completed subject to: |

Completion of a subdivision design to the satisfaction of the
Director of Planning.

Satisfaction of Engineering Department requirements;

oe Satisfaction of Building Department concerns;

Registration of a reetrictive covenant on the properties to prevent
conversion of houses to contain gsecondary suites.

BACKGROUND:

This application is te consider a variance to the interior side yard
- vequirement of Lot 1 at 3380 Glasgow Street. At present the property address
as 3380 Glasgow has one existing residence. The applicant iatendsa to
subdivide to create one new single family residence.

The resulting two lots will fully comply with the site and area for RS<1
Lots. , ;

PROJECY DESCRIPTION:

Lot 64, Plan 28174, a corner property located at Glasgow Street and Dorset. .
Avenue. ' | |

Lot 1, where the existing house will remain requires a relaxation. The
new house to be constructed on Lot 2, fronting on Dorset Avenue follows th
zoning requirements for RS~l (Large Lot Reaidential).
