Traboulay, Aldermen M.C. Farnworth, M.D. Gates, J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, W.W. Stewart, and M.R. Wright in attendance. Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk/Deputy Administrator R.A. Freeman, City Engineer T.M. Chong, P.Eng., and Director of Community Planning W.A. Brown. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES: Moved by Alderman Wright: Seconded by Alderman Stewart: That the minutes of the Regular Council meeting held on September 11th, 1989 be taken as read and adopted, Carried. DELECATION: His Worship Mayor 1.M. Traboulay introduced Mrs. R. Leoppky, 2435 Kensington Crescent, Port Coquitlam, who expressed opposition to the installation of a Community Mail Box at the rear of her property as it would affect the value of the property and would increase traffic in front of her home. Mrs. Leoppky would also like to have an area representative on the Committee addressing this matter. His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mrs. Gail Clayton, 1217 Knights Court, Port Coquitlam, who expressed her opposition to the installation of a Community Mail Box i concern regarding the effect of the C their property, the increase of traffic in a cul-de-sac that is already experiencing parking problems and would like to see the City and Canada Post designate areas away from peoples homes. His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mrs. P. Straker, 2385 Kensington Crescent, Port Coquitlam, who expressed her oppesition to the installation of a Community Mail Box on the property across the road from her home. Would like to see a central mail area on City property away from peoples homes, perhaps even in the Park area.
