A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of the Corporation of The
City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam,
B.C. on Monday, December 19, 1988, at 7:30 p.m.

His Worship Mayor LL.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.D. Gates, M.C.
Farnworth, J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, and W.W. Stewart, M.R. Wright in
attendance.

Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Engineer
T.M. Chong, Director of Gommunity Planning, City Solicitor C. Murdy and
Secretarial Assistant to the City Cler« S. Rauh.

That the minutes of the Regular meeting and Public Hearing of
December 12th, 1988 be taken and read and adopted.

Carried.

DELEGATION:

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mr. Russ Hellard and
Inspector McMartin who then presented the Coquitlam/Purt Coquitlam Crime
Prevention Committee Annual General Report for 1988.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mr. Mike O'Connor and Mr.
Ken Cameron of the Greater Vancouver Regional District whe presented a
report on Development Services and asked Council to consider a resolution
authorizing the City to become a participating municipality in the
non~regulatory development services function of the GVRD established by
Supplementary Letters Patent dated 17 August 1988 and contained in
Appendix A attached to the report to Council.

contained in Appendix A of the report submitted to Council.
