April 19th, 1982.

A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of
the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam
City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on April 19th,
1982 at 7:30 p.m.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.D. Gates, G.R. Laking,

Mabbett, A.K. Muldoon, D.J. Vater and M.R. Wright in attendance.

Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer B.R. Kirk,
City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Engineer, F.E. Peters, P. Eng., City
Treasurer J.G.S. Maitland, Director of Community Planning W. Brown and
Recording Secretary D. Vyse.

DELEGATION:

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mr. Rick Purcey of the Delegation:
Port Moody

Port Moody Historical Society who then made a presentation to Council Historical
Society

regarding expansion of the Society to include all the surrounding areas’

and that the Society proposed to form a new Society the "Burrard-Fraser

Heritage Society".

Mayor L.M. Traboulay appointed Alderman M.R. Wright to attend the
Soc 2ty'’s meetings.
