Mayor Laking suggested that the resolution under consideration be amended so that it referred to the removal of ice from the old arena only. Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Ranger: That the previous Resolution be amended so as to refer to the removal of ice from the old arena only. The question then recurred on the resolution of Aldermen Keryluk and Gates, as amended: That Minor Hockey be permitted to hold the Bantam Tournament, as requested, in 1981 and that the ice be removed from the old arena on March 31st each year thereafter.
