it is unfortunate, and I ‘am sure you will agree, that the University
Municipal Administration Course has now been phased out and is no longer in
existence. You are aware that the Municipal Officers' Association of B.C.
has an Education Committee actively investigating the possibilities of
recognized and acceptable academic courses for those persons interested in
Municipal Administration. The Committee, of course, is also actively working
towards seminar type of educational programs for specific subjects which
Municipal Officals may be able to take to upgrade and keep abreast of
municipal administration and finance.
