ANIMAL CONTROL FACILITY

During the month of May the Animal Control Facility functioned extremely well.

Daring the month 29 complaints were received, however, due to the implementation
of an extra Inspector to carry out irregular patrols 66 animals were impounded
and further 45 tickets were issued,

The affect of the Inspector carrying out supplementary patrols can be judged. by
that one of the major complaints from the so-called ‘concerned pet owning public!
is that they do not consider that patrols should be carried out in off duty hours.

Additional patrols will be continued until the end of August.
