RESOLUTIONS FINAL DATE FOR RECEIPT OF ORDINARY RESOLUTIONS BY THR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR iS WEDNESDAY, vy JLY 6TH, 1977. TWENTY (20) COPIES of each resolution are required. Resolutions should follow the general format now used in the Resolutions Books of the Union and include: A brief descriptive title. ; ~ The name of the sponsoring Municipality or Regional District. - The name of the endorsing Area Association, if such endorsation has been obtained. Each resolution should be prepared on a separate sheet. Supporting information concerning specific problem areas or reasons for re- solutions may be included or attached as appropriate. NOTE: Ordinary resolutions received subsequent to July 6th will be returned to the sponsoring members vhich may resubmit them as late resolutiona, LATE RESOLUTIONS Late resolutions will be accepted by the Executive Director up to twelve noon on Monday, September 19th, 1977. Members are reminded that the Executive will only consider late resolutions on the subject matter of which is such that they could not have been submitted as ordinary resolutions by the normal deadline date. FIVE HUNDRED (500) COPIES of each late resolution are required. VOTING RIGHTS All delegates who are elected representatives of member Municipalities or Regional Districts are entitled to vote. Delegates who are appointed officials of member Municipalities md Regional Districts are entitled to the privilege of the floor but may not vote. No vote by proxy is recognized or allowed.
