THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM MEMORANDUM DEC 13 1976 R.A. Freeman, December 6th, 1976 City Clerk L.D. Pollock, City Administrator L. Lee, Planning Officer FROM: vV.G. Borch, P, c.c. Re: Huntington Rubber industrial Development In response to your request for a report on the proposed Huntington Rubber industrial development, the following outlines the present situation insofar as the subdivision portion of the proposed development is concerned.. ; The sanitary Sewer, storm sewer, road work, side- walk, and curbs and boulevard required to be constructed on Davies Avenue as a condition of subdivision approval were completed in July this year. The 10% holdback for the one year maintenance period will be released in July 1977 unless .unforeseen difficulties arise. , * The Developer who was to proceed with an industrial development on the easterly property made some general inguiries Several months ago. I understand that several partners are involved and that they are having difficulties in arriving at a consensus as to what to do. Several factors apparently have contributed to the lack of activity by Huntington Rubber not the least of which is the recent death of one of the major owners. Mr. Cross of United Realty has indicated that he wishes to approach the City early in the New Year to discuss both properties. V.G. Borch} P. Eng., City Engi
