the purchase of a 1977 Maverick from the low-bidder Metro Motors Ltd.

1976 the following Tender be accepted:

From Metro Motors Ltd. being $3,819.90 for the supply of a 1977
Maverick;

AND THAT funds for the purchase be taken from the Machine and

Equipment Reserve Fund

From the Leisure Activities Committee, November 19th, 1976 recommending
purchase of a Model HDB Zamboni Ice Resurfacer from S.M.I. Industries
Limited. ‘The report advises that the less expensive quote received did
not meet the necessary requirements for a two ice surface operation and
further that an additional expenditure of a few hundred dollars will be
required to convert the new engine to the use of propane fuel.
