The City Administrator advised that.in accordance with a “Letter of Understanding" in the. 1973-74: Union Agreement, all insurance benefits, including the addition of a dental pian, were negotiated by representatives of tha City's Administr- ative Staff and the Union; however , bids were outained earlier for the Life Insurance aspect by the City's broker from both the North American firm and cus, and as the latter happened to be slightly lower, it was accepted. The Gity Administrator further advised that the bid from M.S.A. on the den-_ tal plan was Low, but that the extended health benefits, formerly obtained . ‘from M.S.A., were switched to cu & C. Alderman n Thompson stated he understood the City's new garbage parker unit has now arrived in.
