Alderman Mabbett advised that he, along with Alderman Ranger, .the

City Administrator and the Fire Chiet attended a meeting last Friday in the

Insurance aspect by the City's broker from both the North American firm and

cus, and as the latter happened to be slightly lower, it was accepted.

The Gity Administrator further advised that the bid from M.S.A. on the den-_

tal plan was Low, but that the extended health benefits, formerly obtained .

Alderman n Thompson stated he understood the City's new garbage parker

unit has now arrived in. Vancouver, and. the City Engineer confirmed this

.information.as correct; however, he advised that it is presently undergoing

sa routine check, following which it will be put into service.
