district manager for the
under-17 North team by the
B.C. Amateur Hockey Associa-
tion. .

The team will be one of six set
up in B.C. as all-star squads
organized to improve on the
caliber of hockey.

ed, so Mr. Lafleur finally sent it
away for repairs in 1979.

Through some quirk, the
watch ended up at Cook's
Jewellers in Prince Rupert.
Despite being returned to the
repair depot with instructions
concerning its real home, the

watch again turned up at the
‘coast community. -

- Out of frustration, the watch
was put in the store’s safe and
forgotten about until the Ram-
mers’ visit was announced,

During the second period
break on the 23rd, Lafleur was
re-presented with his missing
memento of nine years. He ex-
pressed pleasure at getting it
back; then promptly led his team
to a 15-8 win over the local stars.

There’s a fitting ending to the
story — the watch still doesn’t
