A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam
was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port
Coquitlam, BC on Monday, August 22, 1994, at 7:30 p.m.

Mayor L.M. Traboulay, and Councillors M.J.Gordon, J.J. Keryluk, R.H. Talbot, and
M.A. Thompson were in attendance.

Also in attendance were City Administrator T.M. Chong, Secretarial Assistant to the City Clerk
G.S. Chubaty, City Engineer LR. Zahynacz, Planner J. Lee, Director of Parks & Recreation
K.J. Taylor, and Fire Chief G.W. Routley.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay asked Council if they wished to permit a petitioner to speak
regarding the truck traffic in Shaughnessy Woods Subdivision.

That a petitioner be allowed to speak regarding the truck traffic in Shaughnessy Woods
Subdivision.

His Worship, Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mr. Trevor Davies, 1540 Pitt River Road, who
addressed Council regarding his trucks being towed when he had parked them improperly on
Kingsway Avenue.

That the matter of Mr. Trevor Davies of 1540 Pitt River Road regarding his trucks being towed
from Kingsway Avenue be referred to the Public Works Committee for further consideration.

His Worship, Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mr. Peter Borghardt, 2282 Nacht Avenue who
addressed Council regarding his concerns of noise from the truck traffic in Shaughnessy Woods

on Saturday mormings. :

That the matter of Mr. Peter Borghardt of 2282 Nacht Avenue regarding his concerns of noise
from the truck traffic in Shaughnessy Woods on Saturday mornings be referred to the Protective
Services Committee for further consideration. |
