A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the
City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council! Chamber, Port Coquitlam
City Hall on Monday, August 10th, 1987, at 7:30 p.m.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.C. Farnworth, M.D.
Gates, GR. Laking, WoW. Stewart and M.R. Wright in attendance.

Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Engineer
F.E. Peters, City Treasurer, J.G. Maitiand, Director of Community
Planning W. Brown, Parks and Recreation Director K.eJ. Taylor and
Secretary S. Rauh.

SPECIAL PRESENTATION

His Worship L.M. Traboulay introduced Mr. Chris Glen, Mr. Mike Glen
and Mr. Duane Fernquist and presented them with a Certificate of
Recognition for their Port Coquitlam entry into the Nanaimo Bathtub
races.

That the minutes of the Regular Counci! Meeting held on July 20th,
1987, be taken as read and adopted.

That the "Kinsmen Community Building Leased Property Exemption From.
Taxation Bylaw, 1987, No. 2291" be reconsidered, finally passed and

Alderman Farnworth returned to the Counci! Chamber at 8:07 Dome and took
his place at the table.
