Executive, meeting in Vancouver today, November 3rd, has decided to call a Special Convention of the U.B.C.M. for the purpose of examining the Report of the Review Committee on Regional Districts, which is expected to be made available in the near future. In accordance with the U.B.C.M. By-laws, this correspondence will. be deemed to be the official Notice of that Special Convention, DATE AND TIMING The Special Convention will be held on MONDAY, DECEMBER lith, 1978, commencing at 9:00 a.m. It is anticipated that the meeting will conclude by 5:00 p.m. PLACE The Special Convention will take place in the British Columbia Room, Hotel Van- couver, 900 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, B.C. TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION The Report of the Review Committee on Regional Districts,with such other matters as may be deemed necessary by the Executive of the U.B.C.M. REGISTRATION Delegates who intend to be present at this Special Convention are requested tc advise the U.B.C.M. Office (Suite 204 ~ 604 Blackford Street, New Westminster) by mail of their intention to attend. Registration forms are enclosed.
