March 10th, 1975 the tapes of Council meeting minutes retained for a six-month period also as there are many times when some research is required. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Mabbett: That the foregoing proposed resolution be amended by deleting all the words after "Council Meetings" in Item (a) thereof and inserting the following in their place: "retained for a period of six months with re-using of the tapes to start in the same order." Carried. The question was then called on the motion of Aldermen Traboulay and Mabbett, as amended: That as outlined in a report from the City Clerk, March 5th, 1975, a permanent system be installed in the Council Chamber for recording Council and Committee meetings requiring an expenditure of approximately $100.00 for the purchase of 2 microphones plus whatever staff time is needed to build a small table to hold the recorder; also that 36 tapes be purchased at an estimated cost of $2.00 each; AND THAT the following method be used for storage of taped meetings: (a) Council meetings - retained for a period of six months with re~ using of the tapes to start in the same order; (b) Committee meetings - retained for a period of six months with re~ using of the tapes to start in the same order. RESOLUTIONS: Moved by Alderman Traboulay: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That the Agreement between The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam and Lincoln Projects Ltd. dated the Twenty-eighth day of February, 1975, respecting Lot "B", Block 3, District Lot 379, Group One, Plan 1213, New Westminster District, and Land Use Contract No. 3 wherein certain details respecting the illuminated signs to be erected under the terms of the said Land Use Contract No. 3 are set out be approved; AND THAT His Worship the Mayor and the City Clerk be authorized to sign the said Agreement on behalf of the City and affix the Corporate Seal thereto.
