they do when they're not
fying for Santa?

questions about Santa have
had children around the
world confused for years.

To set the record straight
The Terrace Standard de-
cided to ask the jolly elf
himself for. an interview,
and to our delight he ac-
cepied, =:

As most children in Ter-
race know, Santa has been
making regular appearances
at the Skeena Mall. We
lured him away for a few
minutes one afternoon with
ahotcocoa,

Well, to our surprise in-
Stead of a nice warm
restaurant, Santa ‘snuck our
reporter out for a look at one
of his reindeer!

Opening the door of a
horse trailer. parked behind

the Skeena Mall, the
reporter peered inside. .
An _ honest-to-goodness

reindeer stepped back in
surprise from his hay at the
unexpected interruption,

“I like ‘to travel by
reindeer whenever I can,”
Santa explained,

He pointed to a small
sleigh tucked away in the
comer of the “trailer. ‘It
keeps these guys-in good
shape for the big night.””
