Gary Cohen, Patrick Lawson et Derek Hawksley jouent de divers instruments tels la guitare,
le bouzouki et le baglama (instruments grecs), le doumbek (tambour arabe) et la basse élec-
trique. Kéfi offre un éventail complet de rythmes de danses grecques: rythmes instrumentaux
et, de temps a autre, une chanson en grec. Un concert typique nous améne de la tsiftetelli
(danse orientale) au Zorba bien connu.

ments of this kind of music: bouzouki, baglama (soprano bouzouki), guitar, and doumbek or
hand drum. Greek music is designed for dancing, however its great variety makes for good lis-
tening as well. Instrumentally, Kéfi plays the entire range of Greek dance rythms and some-
times includes a song in Greek for variety. A typical Kéfi performance will span the distance
from the exotic tsiftetelli or belly dance to the familiar Zorba the Greek.
