And whereas the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada is the only national voluntary health
agency in Canada supporting programs in research and providing international research

coordination;

And whereas the said Scciety’s mandate is to ensure delivery of services to MS persons and
their families to help them help themselves; to raise funds for research; and to provide public

awareness in British Columbia.

Now therefore I, Leonard M. Traboulay, Mayor of the Corporation of The City of Port
Coquitlam DO HEREBY PROCLAIM the month of May, 1994

"MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS CARNATION MONTE"
in the City of Port Coquitlam.
