That the City of Port Coguitlam write to Mr. Peter Dueck, the Minister of
Health of the Province of British Columbia, representing the very deep concern
of Council with the lack of an Emergency Ward being provided at the Eagle
Ridge Health Care Centre and request that he undertake immediate action to see

that this facility is opened.

That the Chamber of Commerce request for a budget for the 1988 Tourism
Brochure be referred to the Administration Committee and the Economic

Development Committee for investigation and report.
