96 Hy at SERVICE OF NOTICES Any notice, order, direction, request or other communication given by the Municipality to the Contractor under this Contract shall be deemed to be well and sufficiently given to the Contractor if the same be left at any office usec by any Contractor, or be delivered to any of his officers, clerks, or servants, or be mailed in any post office addressed to the Contractor at the address mentioned in this Contract or at the Contractor's iast known place of business. Any notice, request or other communication given by the Contractor to the Municipality under this Contract shall be deemed to be wel| and sufficiently given to the Municipality if the same be delivered by hand to the office of the City Engineer. No responsibility will be accepted for oral Instructions. ADVERTISING The Contractor will undertake to inform all of the customers of the curbside newspaper collection service prior to commencement of the service. Initially @ brochure explaining the service shall be delivered to every single«fami ly residence in the Municipality which receives curbside garbage collection service. The Municipality will undertake annually to inform its residents in single family dwellings of the curbside newspaper collection service by inclusion of a statement, which will be supplied by the contractor, concerning the service with the tax billings (provided that they are sent out in an envelope) and in its Community Newsletter. This statement shal! be prepared and supplied by the Contractor in a format approved by the City Engineer. CHANGE _IN REFUSE COLLECTION OPERATIONS The Municipality undertakes to notify the Contractor of any substantial changes in the City operated retuse collection service which will affect the Contractor's work under this Contract. | EXCLUSIVE FRANCHISE ‘During the term of this Contract the Municipality wlll not enter into any agreements(s) with other Contractors for curbside newspaper collection for single family residences nor will the Municipality give permission to any other agency to pick up newspaper left at the curbside. However, this provision will not be applicable to door-to-door newspaper drives organized by non=profit organizations such as Boy Scouts, Girl Guides, ete., provided that the days selected for such drives do not fall on the same day(s) as the regular curbside newspaper pick-up service. TERMINATION OF CONTRACT The Contract may be terminated by the Contractor upon serving two months! prior notice in writing to the Municipality. Similarly, tne Contract may be terminated by the Municipality upon two months! prior notice in writing to the Contractor, in the event that the Contractor falls to comply with the conditions of this Contract,
