IPM/A -2- ATHLETIC FIELDS: In general, weed populations in athletic fields visited by the consultant were relatively low, ranging from approximately 5% to 25% of the total turf area. Exceptions to this general observation occured at McLane and Cedar fields where the turf had sustained moderate to extensive damage due to heavy use by adult soccer players during inclement weather.
