1. That with respect to the forthcoming annual general election Ronald OCT { 1979

Arthur Freeman, City Clerk, of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam shall be the

Returning Officer.

2. Nominations will be held at the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall,
2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C. at ‘the time specified by Statute;
namely, 10 o'clock in the forenoon to 12 o'clock noon on Monday, October 29th, 1979.
3. In case a poll is required the same will be held during the time specified by
Statute; namely, from 8 o'clock in the forenoon to 8‘o'clock in the afternoon on
Saturday, November 17th, 1979; at the following places:

a. St. Catherine's Anglican Church Hall,
2251 McAllister Avenue

b. Viscount Alexander Elementary School,
3250 Flint Street .

1890 Humber Crescent

d. Cedar Drive Elementary School,
3140 Cedar Drive ,

e. Westwood Elementary School,
3610 Hastings Street

f. Kilmer Elementary School,

1019 Fernwood Avenue

h. Port Coquitlam Secondary School,
3550 Wellington Street
4, In case a poll as aforesaid is required, then a mobile poll shall be

established at the places and during the times specified by the "Mobile Poll
Establishment By-law, 1975, No. 1396"; namely, at some convenient location at
the Senior Citizens’ housing facility known as "Dogwood Manor" located at
3155 Seymour Street, from 8 o'clock in the forenoon until 12 o'clock noon and
at some convenient location in Hawthorne Lodge, 2111 Hawthorne Avenue, from

1 o'clock in the afternoon until 5 o'clock in the afternoon, on November 17th, 1979. .

5. In case a poll as aforesaid is required, then an advanced poll will be held

at the place and during the time specified by the "Advanced Poll By-law, 1969, No.
956; namely, at the Port Coquitlam City Hall from 8:30 o'clock in the forenoon

until 6 o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, November 5th, 1979 and from 8:30 o'clock
in the forenoon until 4:30 o'clock in the afternoon on Tuesday to Friday, inclusive,
November 6th to 9th, 1979 and from 8:30 o'clock in the forenoon until 4:30 o'clock
in the afternoon on Tuesday to Friday, inclusive, November 13t to

16th, 1979. |

6. The power to appoint Deputy Returning Officers to preside at the respective

polling places is hereby delegated to the Returning Officer appointed herein.
