SCHEDULE “'C" ~ LIMMERCIAL ZONES

Pernitted Signs:
Signs permitted in Schedule "A" of this By-law, as tegulated therein.
Two direc. onal signs (off-site) on a lot.

General advertising signs, including billboard signa as a principle use

only in a CS Zone.

Identification signs.

Local advertining safgna.

Location and Siting:

All signs, except directional signs (off-site) and general advertising
signs, stall be located on the lot of the building, structure or use to which
they refer. ,

(bo) A free-standing sign may be located in a required yard in the CS-1
CS-2, and CS-3 Zones, as regulated by the "Sign Requirements” Section cf this By-law.
3. Stgn Projections:

(a) In a Cl, C2, CS-2 Zone with the exception of an awning sign, no sign
Shall project more than 300 am (0.98 feet) horizontally from the face or wall of
the building cto which 1¢ is attached.

(b) In the C-3 and C-4 Zones, with the exception of an awning sign, no siga
shall project nore than 750 ma (2.46 feet) horizontally from the face or wall of
the building to which it is attached.

te) No sign shall project into or over public propercy.

Sign Heights:

(a) In the C-1, €-2, C-3, C-4 and CS-2 Zones no sign or part thereof shall
extend or project above the roof line of the building to which fc is attached.

(b} In the CS-1 and CS-3 Zones the naximum height of any sign which extends
or projects above the roof line of a building shall be 1.2 2 (3.94 feet).

5. Siga Areas and Densities:

(a) The total combined area of canopy signs and facia Signs shali not exc. 34
the following percentages of the area of the wall surface of tha buflding to which
they are attached:

i. 45 percent fa the CS-2, CS-3 and C-1 Zones.
