August 16th, 1976 law and the said Land Use Contract No. 18 shall extend to and shall regulate the development and use of land described as: i. Lot 39, Block Q, District Lot 466, Group One, Plan 19410, New Westminster District. Lot 36, Block 8, District Lot 466, Group One, Plan 2294, New Westminster District. That portion of lane lying south and west of the aforesaid Lot 39, north of the aforesaid Lot 36, and east of Oxford Street; said lane being 20 feet wide and 33 feet long and 660 square feet in area. The above-noted property is located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Oxford Street, Imperial Street, and Lougheed Highway and upon its issuance Land Use Contract No. 18 will permit the land and the building and structures to be located thereat to be used for C§-1 (Service Commercial) uses in order to permit McDonald's Restaurants of Western Canada Ltd. to construct a restaurant outlet on the most southerly 174 feet of the said property and various provisions are contained in the said Land Use Contract concerning the size, shape, and siting of buildings, signs, other structures and various other matters including property boundary re-arrangement. The City Administrator advised that the original By-law had been i i t drawn up in such a way that the property was entirely owned by the applicant; however, following some discussions, the applicant has now agreed to purchase approximately 23' of Imperial Avenue extending eastward from its intersection with Oxford Street and the Lougheed Highway at a price of $6.00 per square foot and this will necessitate certain amendments be made to the By-law and the Land Use Contract. No one was present in opposition to the foregoing proposed Zoning By-law Amendment. The Public Hearing concluded at 7:35 p.m. and the regular meeting then commenced.
