Norman Pick. Friends and_ relatives filled the church to over- flowing when the bride approached the altar on the arm of her father who is the Hereditary Chief of Skidegate. She was radiant in a full length gown of heavy white satin which featured a full train. The empire bodice was enhanced with angel wing sleeves and dainty ap- pliques of daisies and seed pearls trimmed the bodice and the full skirt. Her chapel veil misted from a brocaded cap which in turn featured tiny daisies and seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of lily Of the valley and red roses. Her attendants’ gowns all featured the empire waistline and full [floor length skirt. Maid of Honour Joanne Yovanovich wore a pale lemon nylon sheer with full lace sleeves that ended with wide culfs at the wrist and a panel of lace highlighted the bodice as did the smal! standup collar. Her skirl ended in a wide flounce inserted with daisies. Joanne's wide brimmed hat was trimmed with pale yellow ribbon. The bridesmaids, Jennifer Brooks, Elaine Moody and Tami LaFortune were gownea like in peach crepe backed salin and the bodices featured short = cuffed sleeves. Their white, wide- brimmed mohair hats were trimmed with ribbons to mateh their frocks and all attendants carried bouquets of white carnations and yellow rasebuds centred with a single yellow orchid. The best man was Lloyd Collinson and ushering guests lo their pews were Vincent and Shayne Pearson, Rocky Boyko and Mitchell Richardson. The bride's mother chase pale green polyester styled on simple empire lines, and the groom's mother wore a {ull skirted gown, pleated from bodice to hem as were the wrist length sleeves, in lime green polyester. Guests numbering close to 500 were welcomed at the reception which was held in the Recreation Centre in Skidegate.. The table was centred by a four tiered, beautifully decorated cake made and decorated by the bride’s uncle, ‘Karl (Ginger) Moody, which was highlighted by a waterfall, Mr. Gordon Cross presented the bride wilh a wide, golden bracelet and matening golden pendant. which he had carved for her. The Rev. John E. Williams flew here from Kitimaal Village to allend the wed- ding, and he spoke grace -before the. dinner.
