E. The Band, by Band Council Resolution dated , 1994, has approved
this Agreement. )

F, The Council of the City, by Bylaw No. enacted on
, 1994 has authorized the provision of fire protection

services to the Reserve in accordance with this agreement. : |

NOW THEREFORE in consideration of the terms of this Agreement the parties agree

Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, the City shall provide
within the Reserve the services of:

(a) fire fighting; and
) emergency medical response
(the "Fire Services").

The quality and quantity of Fire Services provided by the City to the Band under
this Agreement shall be substantially the same as the quality and quantity of such
service provided by the City to the neighbourhoods located adjacent to the
Reserve, subject to the limitations of the road system and water supply in and
adjacent to the Reserve.

The Band shall be responsible for the provision, maintenance or repair of any
roads, water system and fire hydrants on the Reserve.

TERM
|The term of this Agreement shall be until 12:00 noon, December 31, 1995.

‘The Band shall pay to the City, on or before October 1, 1994, the sum of |
$5,163.00 in consideration of the provision of the Fire Services for the term of this
Agreement. This payment is based on the ratio of the assessed value of all land
and improvements in the Reserve to the assessed value of all land and
improvements in the City, multiplied by the City's 1994 budget for Fire
