Dear Mr. Zahynacz:

Re: Bus Stop at the Port Coquitlam Recreation Centre

I am writing to request that additional parking control signs be installed at the Recreation
Centre in the vicirity of the #160 bus stop.

[ have received numerous reports from operators and transit supervisors that cars have been
observed parked illegally along the yellow curb to load and unload passengers. Due to the
horizontal curve of the roadway, the parked vehicles immediately downstream make it
difficult for operators to pull out from the bus stop.

To resolve this issue, it is requested that the existing "No Parking" sign be replaced with a
"No Stopping AnyTime" sign, and that additional "No Stopping AnyTime" and "Bus Zone"
signs be installed as illustrated in the attached figure. :
