August 28, 1989/182 That City Council direct the Clerk's Office to amend the Development Services Bylaw No. 2242, Section 5, Required Off Street Parking Spaces; Revising the minimua parking for (a) Single Family and Two Family Dwellings from (1) one parking stall per dwelling to (2) two perking Stalls per dwelling. Deleting subsection (b) Multiple Family Dwellings and inserting a new (b) and (ec). The new clauses are; (b) Townhouses (2) two parking stalls per dwelling. (c) Apartment suites not having a grcund level exit (1.5) one decimal five parking stalls for each one bedroom and two bedroom suite and (2) two parking stalls for each three bedroom suite (bedrooms include rooms that can be converted from other uses. Revising the minimum parking for (c) Dwelling units related to commercial premises from (1) one parking stall per dwelling to (2) two parking stalls per dwelling. Revising the minimum parking for (e) Senior Citizen Housing from (1) one parking stall for each (5) five suites near a public transit stop to (1) one parking stall for each (2) two suites and revising parking for senior citizen housing projects beyond the specified distance from (1) one parking stall for each (3) three suites to (1) one parking stall for each suite.
