A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of the Corporation of
The City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port
Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, November 28, 1988, at 7:30 p.m.

His Worship Mayor LL.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.D. Gates, M.C.
Farnworth, J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, and R.H. Talbot in attendance.

Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City
Clerk/Deputy Administrator R.A. Freeman, City Engineer T.M. Chong, and
Parks and Recreation Director K.J. Taylor.

SPECIAL PRESENTATION:

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced members of the
Ringette Provincial "A" and "B" Tournament Winners and presented them
with Certificates of Recognition.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced members of the Boys
Bantam "B" Softball Team who came in Second in the Provincial Playoffs
and presented them with Certificates of Recognition.

DELEGATIONS :

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mr. Mark Rose, M.L.A.
who made a presentation to the City from the Province in honor of the
City's 75th Birthday.

His Worship Mayor LM. Traboulay introduced R.C.M.P.
Superintendent E. Naaykens who presented Mr. Bill Murray with an award
for bravery.

Seconded by Alderman Talbot:

That the “Central Park Road Exchange Bylaw, 1988. No. 2404" be
reconsidered, finally passed and adopted.

Carried.

REPORTS ¢

From the City Engineer, November 28th, 1988 regarding Request for
Budget Increase ~ Water Maintenance Account.

Moved by Aidecman Keryluk:
Seconded by Alderman Gates:

That the Water General Maintenance Budget (Account No. 62122) be
increased by $34,000 and that this amount be funded by the v.oexpected
higher revenues to be credited to the Water Utility Fund.
