Fisher stating that the City of Port Coquitlam is pleased with the results of the prĂ©liminary report and that we hope the recommendations are adopted at the earliest possible convenience. From Mayor L.M. Traboulay regarding B.C. Transits proposed elimination of one trip during peak periods on the #160 route which is the major route connecting the Northeast Sector with downtown Vancouver by way of Barnet Highway. Carried. Moved by Alderman Farnworth: Seconded by Alderman Talbot: That Mr. John Mills or a representative of B.C. Transit be invited to attend the next meeting of Council to discuss the effects of this proposed service adjustment. Carried. From Mayor L.M. Traboulay regarding a request by Mr. G. Caramanolis, 1651 Lougheed Highway to notify the Liquor Control Board that Council has no ebjections to a Neighborhood Pub at 1651 Lougheed Highway. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Talbot: That Council give approval in principle to an application made by Mr. G. Caramanolis for a Liquor Licence at 1651 Lougheed Highway. Carried.
